Amanda was born and raised near the ocean in California, and water has always been an important part of her life and work. She studied under well-known artists in Claremont, and travelled around the world honing her craft. She has been in solo shows and group shows in galleries and museums nationally, and collections internationally. Articles have been written about her work, and her teaching of art to students of all ages and backgrounds. She currently resides in Honolulu, where she exhibits and teaches drawing, painting, and ceramics.
